Greetings Dear Readers;
.
Hope you are well and enjoying a lovely day.
.
A simple Principle...right...but as usual with a straightforward Principle such as this.... there is significance when we take a moment and give it a think.
Discipline yourself, so others do not have to.
A simple illustration would be traffic signals ...if we pay heed to them then it is less likely we will receive a ticket for misconduct.
However it is so much more ...disciplining ourselves in how we think...do we think categorically?....do we think before we speak?....Are we easily distracted? Can we concentrate for an extended period of time? Do we continue to expand our vocabulary that we may increase our ability to understand, to communicate, to learn? All of this is part of self discipline.
We see the results when we train our bodies physically, which is also a part of self discipline....so we shall see the results when we mentally discipline our thinking.
Now are others going to discipline us when we do something carelessly/ without thinking..as the Principle states? It is the continued action without thought that eventually leads to transgressing the rules or laws or guidelines for life...Care- less thinking becomes a way of life when we decide not to guide ourselves.
Let's give this Timeless Truth a think...shall we?
Thank you for dropping by. __
Wishing you all the best....God's best!
"God manifests His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died as a substitute for us." Romans 5.8
It is faith alone in Christ alone for eternal life.
