Tucked away in the hollers and fields of Kentucky, grey boards and hewn logs tell of the crops and live stock that sustained the region not to long ago. Many of the old barns are falling or in poor condition, but all them house treasure. Mason jars, tobacco sticks, and coke bottles are only a few of the relics laying in wait. The true treasure lies in the the fading traditions of the hill farms and bottoms of East Kentucky. Come along with me into the emerald hills and catch a glimpse of yesterday.
