We take photo to capture moments in this vast ocean of life. But when we manipulate a photo it transforms into something which was nonexistent in the first place. It takes new meaning. When I first did my work with various photos it was a surreal experience. I never thought an existing image can become greater than what it is. Images always speak a thousand words but when you reorder the forms and color, those words transcend. It's like painting a photo with your imagination and giving it wings to fly.
In film school, I would always skip my class and invest those time in my own artwork. Most of my manipulation works were done that time. After that I moved on to 3D animation, motion graphics and film. Every time I browse through these projects, It makes me nostalgic. After graduation, I got busy in the mainstream industry and It drained most of my creative energy for a long time. Now I feel that blockchain revolution is opening the window for us to breath some fresh air ! I believe these platforms will change the fabric of content sharing in many levels.
I love to work with human's facial expression. To me face is the most expressive canvas and the center of all attention. Here I present to you some of my photo manipulation work which I did during 2000-2005
