Spring Season Celebration
In Bengali, “Pohela” means the first and “Falgun” is 11th month of Bengali year. Therefore Pohela Falgun means the first day of the month ”Falgun”. It is the first day of the lovely season “Spring”. Every year on 13th February people of Bangladesh celebrate this day by wearing colorful traditional dresses; specially yellow or yellowish color. They gather together and arrange cultural events to celebrate this festival. Here are some collected photos for you about the celebration.
