The American Bison
He is originally from Eurasia and migrated to North America through the Bering Strait. Although he is usually seen grazing calmly he can reach a speed of 57 km per hour. The mating season takes place in August and September, during which time there is a lot of activity, especially in males who fight each other to gain dominance over a group of females with whom they will mate.
