Hi dear Steemians,
Have you ever been to the amazing Santorini Island? It's an incredible place. The landscape is breathtaking and if you like sunsets it's the place to be.
Can you imagine having dinner with such a view?
Santorini is a volcanic island with a variety of beaches. The colour of the sand can be white, black and in one amazing spot that I found even red
Red Beach
To see the entire island It's worth renting a small motorbike because of the lack of parking in the main towns. Just be careful and wear always an helmet please.
On the eastern part you'll find the most beautiful beaches and the landscape is pretty flat. Moving to the west you're gonna reach the highest part of the island with an amazing view over the ancient caldera.
Even though the terrain is very steep the people managed to build incredible buildings that were transformed in luxurious hotel and apartments from where you can get a glass of wine waiting for the sunset.
Not to miss are the big towns of Fira and Oia. The photos that are following were taken there.
