This new video I uploaded on youtube
My passion for macro photography probably fulfilled my childhood wish to become a documentary filmmaker, although it was hard for me to do it, but would definitely try it out.
This Fire Bug is Eurydema ornatum Punaise rouge du chou, in French cabbage bug or Red Red in English.
However I really like how I can capture the texture on the foreground bug.
Although these Fire insects are very decorative, they are plant pests that are cultivated-mainly from cabbage families.
The insect shield of a Fire Bug resembles a Gendarme insect, Pyrrhocoris apterus - especially if they are busy hanging around and you are not getting a good look.
However, the Gendarme bug has a distinctive 'tribal' design with two 'eyes'.
There are some Fire bugs with the same general red and black colors and that is a sign that the insects are terrible. Some even release bitter liquids when handled with human hands.
