During the summer months with the nights being so short, it's a struggle to find somewhere dark enough at a more sociable hour to shoot. So this cave in the Peak District is ideal even if it is a little damp!
This shot involved two elements with a camera rotation device. First I lined up my LP buddy, @neilru with a Godox strobe behind him and worked out a position so as not to overexpose other parts of the frame leaving those areas black and unexposed. I then panned the camera over and fired the same flash and subject to rotate the three other silhouettes in the frame. Job done.
This image was created in one photographic exposure and is not a Photoshop creation. The camera used was a Sony A7 full frame camera, two lenses and a camera rotation device.
About me: I specialise in shooting lightpainting images all in one photographic exposure which involves different elements with different lenses and tripods.
