I also have a love for Military Aviation, in fact it's this that really brought me into the world of photography again..
However, I rarely frequent airshows these days due to plonkers with stepladders, (will a couple of extra feet make much of a difference?)
So, I spend a bit of time hanging around Air bases and when opportunities arise for a shoot on base, I do my best to get on it..
These were taken on a fantastic couple of days with 1Sqd at RAF Lossiemouth in Scotland a couple of years ago.... It's not often you get to be this close to 3 typhoons being hotpit refueled (engines running).. The sounds, the rumbles in your innards and the smells... Fantastic
