This is the time of the month when the atmosphere is tenser - how could it not be, as the rising moon again shines in the sky. This mysterious celestial body has always been spirited, inspiring artists, romantics, influence world events and landmarks, moving the oceans, as well as affecting humans, animals and plant growth - in short, everything that is alive on our Earth.
True meaning and creation of the moon are still veiled in a mystery, but it is known to have an extremely powerful impact on our planet. We could say that it represents a kind of pulse of Mother Nature, which inspires us with a wonderful cosmic power.
The moon embodies the feminine aspect as opposed to the Sun, which personifies the male. The sun is the center of our solar system and at the same time the closest star to us, which gives us light and warmth and allows us to live on the planet at all. The reflection of the Sun is thus the one that allows the Moon to be visible at all and consequently allows it to reveal all its beauty, power and attractiveness.
Over the decades, there have been many scientific reports for and against the influence of the moon on human behavior. Some opinions are that all objects, including stars and planets, emit subtle frequencies that can affect us in various ways at the physical and subtle (intangible) levels. Our thoughts or impressions have been accumulating for many years, or lives, which influence our current thoughts and actions, since they have their subtle frequencies. Since the influence of the moon on man and nature tends to be more spiritual than physical, you can protect yourself or mitigate your influence by devoting yourself, your good mood and positive attitude. A tip for those who feel particularly vulnerable around the full moon, perhaps “Point your sails and sail as calmly as possible through the storm”.
The moon has always fascinated people around the world, asking what its true power is. For millennia, they have been known to influence the tide of the sea, the cycle of menstruation, the growth of plants and the behavior of humans and animals on this planet in general. But this is just a theory that it also affects human behavior. Given that the human body is made around 70% water, it would be almost logical for it to affect humans as well, but there is no clear evidence for this. Maybe in the future we will know more about this.

For many nations, the Moon has been associated with the beauty and mystery of the feminine. An obvious example of this is the ancient Greek goddess Artemis. She was considered the patroness of three worlds and all life on Earth. As the embodiment of the ever-growing Moon, she was identified with an endless circle of life and death. The moon, as a symbol of the mysterious and incomprehensible feminine energy of the yin, occupies a fundamental place in Chinese culture too. The Incas and Maya associated the goddess of the moon with the image of her mother, worshiping and protecting pregnant women, the family hearth, and fertility.
A few years ago I decided on a tattoo. I have always been fascinated by the power of the moon and the sun, so I wanted to combine them. The very meaning of these two beings together convinced me that this was the right tattoo for me.
We perceive the sun as a symbol of eternal life, the human bright soul and which carries positive energy. The moon is a symbol of mystery, pacification, and power.
With these two, you combine the two opposites and you get a symbol of the harmony of womanhood and manhood. The unity of masculine and feminine energy forms a sign of the infinity and wisdom of the universe. They say, that people who choose such an image, have a philosophical view of the mind. They intuitively strive for the beauty of the spiritual and the physical, perfecting themselves to achieve divine balance.
Actually, all my tattoos are connected and they have meaning. Meaning, which is important just for me. So, I'm sharing photo of my back with you ;)
Every man has his own opinion, and every opinion must be respected, no matter how strange it may be, because there is no actual evidence and at this moment everybody has right.
And what is your opinion? Does the moon have an impact on a human or are these just the theories we have learned from the ancient civilizations?
Every spark returns to darkness. Every sound returns to silence. Every flower returns to sleep with the earth. The journey of the sun and moon is predictable. But yours, is your ultimate art - Suzy Kassem
