Lake Tahoe Blue

There's a slogan coined by "The League to Save Lake Tahoe" stating "Keep Tahoe Blue." It aims to keep the lake with pristine crystal waters condition and inform communities and visitors to act as stewards for Lake Tahoe. I think they're doing a pretty good job. You can literally go in the middle of the lake, fill a water bottle, and drink it straight because of the 99% purity of the water.

I think the biggest threat to the lake is outside of its domain. Climate change and the natural warming of the Earth has remained a constant threat to the state of California. Only the future can tell what will be the fate of the emerald waters you see here.
