On a camping weekend up north, I witnessed this interesting combination. A distant thunderstorm was lighting up the clouds in the distance. And the stars were bright overhead. The lighting was behind the clouds, and I wasn't able to capture it directly in the frame, but it lit up the clouds spectacularly during this 10-minute exposure.
