Here's a photo I took last spring in Rockport, Massachusetts. I found this spot in the rocks down by the ocean. I was able to simulate a long exposure by stacking and averaging multiple short exposures. So what appears to be mist is actually the motion blur of waves crashing. One loses sense of scale in these rocky formations, eroded by the water, and rocks only a few feet tall look like mountains.
