This was one of the first portraits I ever took after I bought one of my softboxes. I had used remote flashes for a long time, but never really invested in a nice big lighting modifier until a good one popped up on Craigslist for pretty cheap. It was definitely very used, but a great investment. I use it all the time for my portrait work now, and helps create a huge magic light that I wasn't used to back then.
Anyways, this is my good friend Danny. For some reason, this is still one of my favorite portraits I've taken. He wasn't really ready for the shot, and we shot a few more pictures after this one. I honestly don't remember if I sent him the others, because when I went back to edit them this was the one that just stood out to me for some reason. Thankfully he agreed as well. For those of you looking for a graphic designer, take a look at his website and contact him if you need something done! He's an awesome dude, I truly don't think I've ever met anyone who hasn't loved him from the get-go.
