While my two friends and I were travelling through Banff and Jasper, someone we met along the way insisted that we hit up Wells Gray Provincial Park on our way over to Vancouver. None of us had heard anything about that park, but if the "locals" tell you to do something, they're usually the ones to trust. Needless to say, we heeded their advice and budgeted in a few hours to visit the park. It did not disappoint. If you like water falling from one point that is higher than the other point, then you'll like this place.
There were multiple impressive waterfalls in different places of the park, even one that you could go close to and climb around (and in, if you wanted to get beaten down by water), and get doused by that sweet sweet Canadian freshwater. For those of you travelling to Banff and/or Jasper in the near future, and are looking for something to do West of it, I would highly suggest Wells Gray.
