This is one of many creeks that run through the temperate rainforests in the Blue Mountains National Park.
The temperate rainforests can be found in most gully's and gorges that run off the sides of the mountains as well as in some of the larger canyons like Grand Canyon in Blackheath. These are home to a great diversity of Flora and Fauna and will have you captivated from start to finish.
This photo is from just a small rainforest walk but i get lost down there for hours investigating and photographing all the different fungi and ferns and little creeklets and waterfalls. I wish there were places like this around where i grew up as a kid.
What a playground!!!
