As i got great comments from my Perseid post, and you people love star photos, i decided to share some of my night sky photos. I don't do a lot of sky photography this are some of my favourite photos and also some kind of retrospective from latest to the oldest.
Taken in 2017. Friend got a new lens Tokina 11-16mm and wanted to out to test it for astrophotography, so we went out few km from our town to make some photos and chill with few beers. This photo is taken with Canon 80d and Sigma 18-35.
Taken in 2016 trying to catch some meteors from Perseid. Didn't got a lot but i got an alien in it :D
Canon 600D and Sigma 18-35mm
2015 also Perseid catching. The shot was not planned, i remembered that i have an umbrella in the car and the light is a pen with led light on the end of it. It is taken at the same place as the photo above. You can see that the tree on the right of the upper photo is the tree on the left on this photo :D
Canon 600D and 18-55mm kit lens. You can see that those 2 stops of light (1.8 on Sigma vs 3.5 on kit lens) means a lot on 600D as this photo has a lot more grain.
2015, just some fun at the park.
Canon 600d, Canon 18-55
2014, my first night sky photo with a DSLR. Canon 600d and 18-55mm
2011, my first attempt on photographing the stars, taken with Canon PowerShot A590 compact camera, hacked with CHDK to override the factory settings and got some more ISO and exposure time. not that smart idea :D
What is your favourite photo from this series?
