Last weekend I went to the family cabin (manufactured home) at Bear Lake with my whole family and the skies were somewhat clear so I took advantage and went out for some star therapy.
While shooting I heard a low growl of what I believe was a mountain lion, or possibly a bobcat. It sounded a bit like this at 0:20 in.
Needless to say, I didn't venture far from my car after that.
