Looking back through old images and I found this one, it's a shot from Winnats Pass looking over to Castleton, Derbyshire.
I shot this around (I think) 5-5.30am, I had gone out early that morning to try and get fog in the valley, sadly, it wasn't as foggy as I wanted it to be, but it did make for a lovely sunrise shot.
What I do like about this shot is the cement works, over in Hope, and the smoke rising from the chimney, I think it makes the shot.
This particular morning, I was expecting to be there just about by myself, but I counted at least 50 photographers wanting the same thing as I did.
I didn't get the shot I wanted, however, this one more than makes up for it.
This is the first time (as far as I remember) that I've published this shot.
Please enjoy.
