Whilst living in India I had some friends going to Delhi for a week in the Spring last year, which gave me a great excuse to visit this bustling metropolis of a political capital, which I never had before. As Auto-Rickshaws are the main means of transports around cities in India, I propped up my shutter speed and was constantly shooting out of the open side.
I dug out some of my favourite drive by shots from the trip and posted them below. They're all taken with a wide aperture (cause I have a thing for slight over exposure) and high shutter speeds.
Felt a bit embarrased disturbing this man in his snack time, but in the name of art..
In Pune and Mumbai (Where I live) there aren't many of these classic bicycle rickshaws around; almost only autos
There's a certain intense vibe surrounding the Indian bikers as they wait for a green light; then zoom past you!
The only thing better than zooming around town was the cricket game later and the beers in the bars!
As ever,
Vil
