Innocence
Children. You know them. Those little flails that are running around, all the time, sometimes touching, sometimes annoying. But they are the only people who act totally like themselves at all times. Not because they choose to always be themselves, but because they simply do not know otherwise. They are ignorant, innocent. Children do not follow the news, do not form opinions, do not know violence. They are, as it were, not influenced by the events around them. When you ask a child if he has pooped his pants, he will give an honest answer. Has he pooped, then you hear him shameless, and often even proud, say YES. Honesty at the top. When an adult poops in his pants, he will not admit this. Although this will not happen quickly of course.
Children have no interest. Yes, just an interest: a little love. That's all. A child does not worry about all kinds of difficult issues. Maybe about the teat falling on the floor or the toy car that gets stuck in the carpet. Because a child is innocent. It is innocence itself.
For everyone comes the moment when you know that you are no longer a child. Unfortunately. And as an adult you have a dozen thing to worry about. Every day over and over again. And the next day it all starts over and over again. As soon as you open your eyes.
Please send me back to my childhood, if only for a week. It would be ONE week without worries. Delicious.
