Artist Point

A lone camper drinks a cup of hot tea on the horizon as the last light begins to fade up at Artist point. Mt Baker (3,286 m or 10,781 ft) forms the high point in the background to the right of frame. This shot was taken after hiking though the snow up to Artist point in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. We then hiked down in the dark with our head torches. Washington State, USA.

I posted the raw file for this shot up two weeks ago for the it Fix it Friday session @PhotoGames of which I was a guest photo star for that week. I was having trouble settling on an edit style before the games and I would like to thank everyone who played the game again as it motivated me to have another look at this shot. In particular I would like to thank Hive account@aweber and Hive account@vmoldo for inspiring the colour tones in this final version of the shot which I think is about halfway between their edits !
