Kepler Rainbow

A rainbow throws up one last defiant challenge to the fading light of a stormy dusk. Taken near Luxmore Hut which sits above the alpine snow line at 1085m (3560 ft) on the Kepler Track. Kepler Mountains, Fiordlands National Park, South Island, New Zealand.

This was shot on a Canon EOS 50D with a Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM at ISO 400, 15.0 mm (23.8 mm in 35mm), f/16, 1/640.
