This weekend me and my favorite little dog took a quick hike to on of our favorite spots!! Yes it's January and yes there is still a little bit of green to be found out there!!
This conservation area is just a quick 5 minute drive from home!! I went out expecting there to be giant Icicles lining the walls of this hollow but there weren't any!! I was just a few days late for this as the temperatures had risen some from the week before! It was in the mid 20's when these were taken and the losing stream was partialy frozen! Just the week before it was frozen solid!
Regardless it was a good time for me and bash to take a nice hike!
We headed down starting at bear cave and walked up and down as far as we could go then went back to the top and down the trail to where this stream meets The Jacks Fork River!
