Climbing up to Larch Valley in the late fall is incredible. Before the big snows come. Some people come for the larches (that'll be for another post), but I come for the incredible views of the valley. You're surrounded by mountains in every direction. It's incredible.
One way it feels like you're standing on top of the world.
And the other it feels like the mountains want to trap you. If you look closely you can see the zig zag trail that takes you to the top. It's still a long way from this point.
If you ever have a chance to visit Alberta in the fall - Larch Valley is a must see!
