I'm pretty lucky that I get to be creative in my day job as well as making it a hobby. Sometimes the lines blur a little and I end up taking too much home. But I guess those blurred lines are what makes life interesting.
I don't often post stuff from work, but every once in a while we get to work on a project that's too pretty not to share.
To get the flowers to stand perfectly straight. We cut a small hole in some foam core - and then stood the stem upright through the hole so that we could control the placement on the flower. On some of the shots we had to get a bit creative and glue it down. Overall though it worked out pretty well.
Here are some outtakes:
Up up and away
I like to ride my bicycle
Frame it up

Making it happen
You can see the wooden box below that we hung the stems through.
It was a great little project - and a good example of what you can do with only a simple prop. It's also way more fun looking at flowers than opening your blockfolio right now. :)
