Merry Christmas!
Since it's Christmas right now and you can only see flashing lights everywhere, I had the idea to do light painting with Christmas lights. For the painting of these pictures I used 4 LED stipes which are otherwise attached to the window frame as Christmas decorations. I attached them to my rotation tool and tried out the different light modes while turning. Here are the results of the session.

In this Photo I added two bicycle taillights on the outer edge.
In this Photo I added a One meter plastictube with red foils and some black tape.
here I added a little yellow to the outer end of the plastic tube. I also added a few stars and flares in the background with my blicky stick and a red flashlight.
About Light Painting:
Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
If you have any questions about the topic, feel free to post them in the comments. I am always happy when I can help.
