Flowing Lights
Another experimental post. I wanted to play with glow in the dark liquids again, so this time I broke a bunch of glow sticks and emptied them into a jar or two.
Using my trusty tripod, I put on my old cannon 100mm macro lens and got close into a kitchen sink.
Here we sprayed, splatted, poured and dribbled the glowing liquid and took the shots using a remote.
And the photos in this post are the results of some quick experimentation. We must have spent a hour or so doing various things using this. We also found adding hot water would speed up the chemical reaction causing brighter spots in the chemicals
Overall it was a fun playing with the chemical juices and recommend anyone with time and glowing chemicals to give it a try. One thing to look out for is small broken pieces of glass but we didn't have an issue. Environmentally probably a bad idea draining it down a sink so I would recommend a safer way of disposal.
