For me, Rome takes a lot of beating in terms of architecture. From old to new their buildings are more like works of art. People flock from thousands of miles to just go and look at them! When we came across the Trevi fountain walking around Rome at night it was so impressive, a lot larger than I had imagined. What really surprised me however was that it just suddenly appears as if out of nowhere. With lots of little streets and pathways leading to and from it that are quite high you would really have no idea it was here! We threw a penny in the fountain that supposedly guarantees our return to Rome, so fingers crossed! I thought it would be great for this weeks #architecturalphotography contest by
