Gently Held

For 5 years, I photographed a festival called Beloved in Oregon – one of the most photogenic events I've ever been tasked with documenting. As the community knew me well, there was a kind of inherent trust, affording me a decidedly intimate perspective.

Authentic moments such as this were a common occurrence – quiet, warm connections and tender exchanges, lovers embracing on the dance-floor as though no one else existed.
