I came across this clever canine playing classical music on the violin while I was getting out of the Montreal metro. There was a surprisingly wide range of emotions in the way he played and his technique was quite good. It was illuminating to see an animal play music, as I've only heard dogs bark in a rather non-melodious way before. I'm sure most people who saw him gained a better appreciation of the intelligence, depth of emotions and potential skillfulness of animals. Fun fact: the dog used his tail as a metronome!
Also, this was the first opportunity I've had to test my new camera, and a great opportunity it was! The camera is a Sony a77, which I've upgraded to from a Sony a330. I very much appreciate the big increase in quality of high ISO photos, and the increased clarity, contrast, and depth of colours. The lens was the classic Minolta 75-330mm.
