Iceland has multiple stunning waterfalls. One of the best waterfalls to photograph is Kirkjufellsfoss. Kirkjufellsfoss is located on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in the north west of Iceland. Directly adjecent to the waterfall is Kirkjufell, a small but steep hill. Many photographers prefer to photograph the waterfall and Kirkjufell in one shot. However, in my opinion, the waterfall is best photographed in its full strength.
Although the waterfall isn't very high, it is very pittoresque. Especially when using a longer exposure time, you can really capture the flow of the water. In this case, I used a neutral density filter that allowed me to use an exposure time of 6 seconds.
