Krakow is a truly beautiful city! We travelled there in the beginning on July and I am so lucky I celebrated my 41st birthday in this magic place.
The only negative memory was a bicycle accident I had on the third day we were there, and the main victim was my precious Nikon - which actually flew out of the bike's basket and onto the hard, concrete road, instantly dividing the body from the lens. I must admit that I almost had a heart-attack lol It seemed like time froze and I could see the camera fly away in slow motion! But thank God, things turned out just fine after cycling for about 45 minutes in a highway and reaching a photo-lab that brought my baby to life in about 15 mins and for only 25 Euro! I expected the damage to be more severe. I was so lucky that I could still use my camera for the rest of our trip!
Krakow is a bicycle friendly city. There are so many, beautiful large parks scattered around that made our exploration even more beautiful, peaceful and filled with positive vibes. It is so enjoyable to walk or bike through a park. We literally biked all day long!
I was particularly drawn to shooting the city's magnificent architectural wealth. Here's a selection of some amazing buildings I came across during my visit in Krakow.
Hope you enjoy!
Have a great day!
