Dear Friends,
Swat is a river valley in the KPK (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) province of Pakistan, located near Swat river and has been colonized for over 2000 years. Since then all kind of civilization has been inhabited at this valley. It was a princely state until 1969. It is populated with Pakhtuns, Gujjars, and Kohistanis. It is full of natural beauty like green meadows, clear lakes, and high mountains. Queen Elizabeth II declared it "the Switzerland of the East" during her visit. The beauty of Swat cannot be described in mere words. Surely many people have fascinated from this valley. I and my friend Mirza Muneeb Ahsan visited this valley and captured some beautiful shots over there.
The beautiful water channels surrounded by mountains add to the already existing beauty of Fiza Ghat.
A local enjoying the scenery. The bridge passing between the high mountains merges the modern and the old times.
A resort full of tourists located near the lake.
During sunset, some beautiful pictures were captured of the lake.
Splashing water in the lake presents a fine view which is added by the dying Sun rays.
