Uling from a coconut shell
I am introducing to you "Mang Rene"
I just passed by and saw him doing this.
Mang Rene is about to put all the uling in the sack
One sack is already full.
Uling is charcoal in english term.
In manila, philippines, they mostly used uling from woods.
Here in my place #macrohon, we used uling from coconut shell.
To do this, you have to gather all the coconut shell and burned them,
Mang Rene of doing uling is the "wet type"
He just simply burned the shells in an open plain,
Before the fire burned the shell into ash, he sprinkle it with water
The result is wet type uling.
After awhile, as the uling gets cold
What you see is he put it in the sack.
I ask him, how much could it be..
He said its 1php/kilo
Thats about $0.02/kilo in this wet type uling.
Probably he can earned $10 or more, i guess..
Back then, I was doing it also.. But not the wet type uling.
Its the dry type, I was little by that time..
And the result is it became an ashes.. Haha it did it bad..👣👻
Thank you for your supports and upvotes!
I appreciate that much
Have you try making uling?
