When I create street photographs, the main subject is of extreme importance in the overall scheme of things. At times I'll wait up to 30 minutes in the same spot hoping for the crowd to go by or for the perfect subject to enter the frame.
Someone's outfit, gesture, a look on the face can make an average photo great. Whenever possible, I prefer to isolate a single subject in the composition so a viewer has one thing to focus on. It might give a feeling of loneliness and isolation in a big city though. Here are some late night stories from the other day.
