After seeing on the forecast that it's about to snow in the morning, I made sure to get up early, have my morning smoothie and head out downtown for a street photography session. Shooting during weather such as snow, rain, fog is always fun. It adds another layer to images, hides distracting details and gives depth.
It was early Sunday which means less people in the streets, only those who missed snow, and of course plenty of dogs having the time of their life. I quite like this minimalistic visual appeal of the winter scenery, whites and faded, dark blues, and occasional lone figure in the distance. It brings to front the feelings of solitude and finding one's place in a vast unknown world. It can be either wearisome or empowering depending on individual's state. Hope you enjoy the captures I made.
