The pea is truly a sweet gift of tundra and marshes. Perhaps this is a generous compensation from nature to wild inhabitants for the tortures delivered by the nemesis. Frozen fruits often abundantly covering the swamps with a solid carpet of berries, which feed animals and birds from small to large. People also collect this delicious berry, storing vitamins for a long northern winter.
While on the expedition, I also took a little time and collected a cloudberry tin to cook jam for my family.
I prepared the jam on a wood stove. It was a delicious fragrant addition to a lot of photos from these beautiful places that I brought from this photo expedition.
This year (2018) I again organize a photo expedition to the lake of Jack London and to the mountains of Big Anngachak. The trip is planned for August-September. If anyone is interested in participating in this tour, please contact me. The trip is difficult, with the exploration of a new route.
