GOUGANE BARRA
The weather today in Ireland was absolutely glorious, sunny skies, very little wind and 23 degrees. So after work I took a trip to Gougane Barra a beautiful spot in West Cork just past the quaint little village of Ballingeary.
The area is a national park and there is lots of walking routes but in the heart of it all is the most picture perfect church located in the middle of a lake.
Also just opposite the church is a hotel and pub, a beautiful place to stay for a few days for a serene retreat.
