This is my entry for a photography challenge by , if you want to participate you should hurry up, you can join until Sunday 18.03, 8 pm UTC. Thank you so much for organizing this contest, I find it really useful because we can discover amazing places, cultures and people.
Alexandru Ioan Cuza Park (also known as IOR Park or Titan Park) is the second largest in Bucharest after Herastrau Park, which measures 187 hectares. The IOR Park was built between 1963 and 1964 as a recreation area for the inhabitants of the Titan neighborhood.
Inside the park was also created a lake with a surface of 50 hectares for boats and mini-ships.
The lake, which is called Titan, is separated from the Libre Rebreanu Bridge in two sectors.
In this park is a Church built between 1994-1996, with a height of 45 meters.
There are basketball and football fields in the park. Also, here are several terraces or restaurants and those who want to relax with a juice or a beer can stop at one of these. Also, in the summer, the park has stands where you can buy natural juices.
Also, several ramps are located along the park for those who are passionate about roller skates. Also, in Alexandru Ioan Cuza Park there is a special place for skateboarding, including ramps for beginner si advanced.
For kids there are many playgrounds.
Traditional fairs are also organized in the park, where Romanians have the opportunity to taste natural products.
If you want to go for a walk in IOR Park, you will find a greenhouse of exotic plants.
If the weather is fine, the park is very crowded during the weekend, especially because Park Lake Mall in nearby.
