Calwell - Local Graffiti Wall
This graffiti wall is found on one of my favourite local dog walks. It's one of those legal areas where street artists can come to practice their craft without defacing private property.
This means, it changes quite regularly and has become a highlight of my walk, to see any new artwork that's appeared since my last visit.
It also became a favourite spot when looking for subjects to photograph with my new camera many months ago.
For starters, the artwork created an interesting subject and backdrop for practising new photographic skills.
And, I also felt like I was capturing and therefore, documenting an original artwork that, once it's overpainted, would never be seen again.
Besides, as I've already found out, it is a great spot where you can work with interesting shadows or (as you can see in my next photo) learn how harsh contrasts between shadows and sunlight affect the final image for the better or worse...!
Thanks for stopping by and reading my post, I really do appreciate your time.
And remember to keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're thinking...!
