The sunrise is not as rich in a palette of flowers as the sunset. But the rising sun gives us a powerful energy for the whole day. The Republic of Karelia is located in the north-western part of Russia. Harsh winters and the northern lights are not uncommon for this area. My friend sent me these colorful photos from the hike.
