From our home, there are many walks and I can do. One of them is down the hill to the part of the Caledonian Canal that passes through Inverness. This canal was built in the early part of the 19th century and allows fair sized vessels to pass from the North Sea at the Inverness end to the Irish Sea at the south west end of the canal, that follows the Great Glen. The Inverness part of the Canal joins into Loch Ness.
These photos were just taken on my phone earlier today, so they aren't as good as if I'd used a proper camera, but I think they document the walk pretty well.
