Imagino que nadie sabe bien como iniciar amistades cuando se es nueva en una sociedad diferente a la de una pero siempre hay que dar un primer paso, como digo en el título coloquialmente en familia me llaman antonela y soy colombiana, nacida hace 44 años en la ciudad de Medellín aunque por problemas sociales cuando era apenas una niña tuvimos que salir de allí y nos dirigimos a una zona más tranquila de interior, localidad muy turística hoy día y de donde me siento como si hubiera nacido aquí, no soy profesional pero si una luchadora que lleva toda la vida trabajando dentro del mundo relativo a la salud, desde hospitales públicos a clínicas privadas hasta el día de hoy.
I imagine that nobody knows how to start friendships when you are new in a different society but you always have to take a first step, as I say in the title colloquially in my family they call me antonela and I am Colombian, born 44 years ago in the city of Medellin although due to social problems when I was just a child we had to leave there and we went to a quieter inland area, I am not a professional but I am a fighter who has been working all my life in the world of health care, from public hospitals to private clinics until nowadays.
Me gusta leer, no tanto escribir pero si que puedo mostrar las bellezas de mi país ya sea por imágenes o vídeos, me gusta el cine, bailar, la fotografía, me gusta mi país al cual adoro y me siento super orgullosa de ser colombiana. Ya pasaron los años de la violencia del narcotráfico, los años 80 y 90 quedaron atrás y hoy día Colombia es un país abierto al turismo, rica en naturaleza, en el cultivo del café, llena de profesionales y de artistas, es un país seguro aunque como en muchas si no todas las ciudades del mundo hay zonas en las que es mejor no entrar y horarios que hay que respetar.
I like reading, not so much writing but I can show the beauties of my country either by pictures or videos, I like cinema, dancing, photography, I like my country which I adore and I feel very proud to be Colombian. The years of drug violence are over, the 80's and 90's are behind me and today Colombia is a country open to tourism, rich in nature, in the cultivation of coffee, full of professionals and artists, it is a safe country although as in many if not all cities in the world there are areas where it is better not to enter and schedules that must be respected.
Colombia es un país de hermosas mujeres y de hombres muy atractivos, como país aún nos queda mucho por avanzar y nuestra economía aún está muy resentida y se demuestra cuando miramos a nuestra moneda que no tiene valor frente al dolar o el euro y al mirar nuestros sueldos, bajos y con mucho por mejorar en el plano laboral pero aún así siempre ponemos nuestro empeño en mejorar nuestras carreras.
Colombia is a country of beautiful women and very attractive men, as a country we still have a long way to go and our economy is still very weak and it shows when we look at our currency which has no value against the dollar or the euro and when we look at our salaries, low and with much to improve in the labour market but still we always put our efforts to improve our careers.
Mi intención es devolver a Colombia la otra cara que tiene, por desgracia aquí hemos observado como se ha conocido nuestro país por el mono tema narcotráfico en cine y televisión y me encantaría que conocieran la otra cara.
My intention is to give Colombia back the other face it has, unfortunately here we have seen how our country has become known for the drug trafficking monkey in films and television and I would love for them to know the other face.
