A buck and doe were on the path ahead of me. I grabbed my phone as fast as I could and snapped a shot. They bolted up the hill, but stopped to look back.
I should just keep my phone in camera mode when I hike in the East Bay Hills: I missed a coyote. I have been seeing them a lot lately out during the day. Either people are less common on the trails I have been taking or they're getting hungry.
