Hey everyone. As some of you may know I had been posting my fathers photography on here a number of months back to try to encourage my father to join because I felt like he would do well on here. And he was really skeptical at first, though over time he's been warming up to the idea of cryptocurrency and now he's so excited about the subject that he's signed up here on steemit and is even looking into investing in some other coins as well.
Back when I was posting my fathers work, I was lucky enough to somehow get his art noticed by a whale named 
Having a whale upvoting your stuff definitely helps a lot! And I feel kinda bad for the people who don't know what that's like.. I've experienced both worlds, and I haven't had a whale on my page for a long time while I watch others getting a decent steady stream on a regular basis, and that's not just steem/money either.. When a whale upvotes your stuff it tends to get SEEN by a lot more people which tends to end up in more followers to your blog. So it's really helpful on numerous levels to have the help of a whale, even for a short while.
All of the pictures in this post were taken by my father and in my opinion he's kind of like a modern day Ansel Adams. I think his artwork is amazing and I strive as well to be a better photographer and am inspired by many his pictures. I'm also very thankful he got me into photography as it is something I enjoy a lot!
