About a month ago, we had a really big snow here in SW VA. These were taken a few days after, when things were just starting to melt a little. My husband had left for work, and I spied doe across the valley from my house. They were a bit too far away to get really good shots, but considering I didn't have to leave my front porch... anyway, the moment was ruined after one of my dogs barked at them. Good job, dog! There were about six does in all just hanging out, looking for food.
