It’s been quite chilly so there’s been quite some Netflixing going on lately. I can honestly say the best movie I have seen this week has been “First They Killed My Father” a heartbreaking movie about the Khmer Rouge’s impact in Cambodia. This film was directed by Angelina Jolie and is based on 7 year old Loung Ung’s life during the reign of the communist Khmer Rouge’s terror.
I definitely give this movie 5 out of 5 stars. It’s truthfully told, beautifully filmed and to see the raw impact war has on families was heartbreaking. If you haven’t watched it I highly recommend you do!
What is the last great movie you have watched?
