We have adult squirrels living in our roof and there is a hole in the one wall near the roof. That is where I think I he came from but I'm still uncertain. When I found him he was rattling near our toaster on the floor tucked in the little angle near our cupboards. My partner gave me some gardening gloves and I picked him up and took him outside. I didn't know what else to do with him but I did contact a wildlife volunteer group and they agreed I did the best thing. I don't encourage you to do this as it can be dangerous because squirrels do bite and can be quite mean. I was lucky this guy was too terrified to try anything.
