Borobudur Temple is a temple built during the Syailendra Dynasty and is the grandest Buddhist monument in the world. Because of its grandeur and majesty, the temple built in the 8th century has been established by UNESCO as one of the world heritage heritage. 
Almost all foreign tourists visiting Yogyakarta are eyeing Borobudur as a must-visit tourist destination. So is the case for domestic tourists. It feels less afdol if a visit to Yogyakarta but did not stop by the magnificent temple located in Magelang regency, Central Java.
Borobudur temple is worth a visit by anyone because this temple is the grandest Buddhist temple in the world and a proof of the glory of the ancestors of the Indonesian nation in the past. Just imagine, in the era of manual manpower without the help of computers and without any sophisticated tools our ancestors were able to build gigantic monuments of stone times and all neatly arranged with an interlock system (locking each other). Not to mention the greatness of the artists who are able to carve out 2672 relief panels on an ongoing basis. Tourists who visit Borobudur can walk around this temple pradaksina (rotating clockwise) as did the pilgrims of old. From the first level walk to the left then just go up to the next level, so continue until it reaches the top. If observant, tourists will find many interesting reliefs.
